I just got AF, the banana foster, and tobacco in the mail.
I loved the banana, and have been vaping on butter rum for a couple weeks now.
The AF was WAY too strong for me8-o, it tasted good, but just over powering. So I cut it with some unflavored VG. Brought it down to a tolerable level.
The problem is now I can taste nothing but the AF. Butter rum tastes like nothing but air:?:, and the bananas just taste like cinnamon.:(

Is this the norm??

If the other juices are new they might not have their full flavor profile yet.

I had the same issue when I got my first order, after AFB I had a hard time tasting Butterfinger or Cafe Macciato. Now (2 wks later) the flavors come through much better after something strong like AFB or Orange-Lime.

Also you almost need a separate atty for AFB IMHO. It takes a good flush to get the cinnamon out of an atty after AFB...

I am only using a dedicated atty for it.
Stock 510 is the delivery device right now.
Its good. I like it. But I like my other flavors too!
I'm gonna lay off it for a few days and see what happens. Not quite willing to give up on it yet. It's just gonna be a little dissapointing if I cant taste any other flavors for a few days after vaping it.

Yes, but most cinamon flavors will do it if strong...I usually only vape AFB when really in the mood bc of that reason or switch btwn flavors all thru the day-that halps it not do that but if u vape it a few hrs straight, better stick with it ;) What an awesome flavor tho to be stuck w for the day----I LOVE the darn stuff!

When I first got my AF, I vaped nothing but that for a few weeks. I couldn't taste ANYTHING after that. You'll get your taste back in a couple days.

Now I only use AF when I'm really in the mood for it, and only in moderation. I won't go more than a day straight with it. Even using it sparingly, I find that my next flavor seems very dull for an hour or so.

The best way I've found is to plan on AF being your last flavor for the day. The next morning, don't take any drags of it, or else you're stuck without any flavor (unless you stick with AF) for the rest of the day.

It's almost like a treat. :p

This has become extremely frustrating.
I have been vaping my butter rum all day long and I get NO flavor from it.
I thought it might be an issue with the atomzer, because I can taste the hot electrical taste after the 2 drops are gone, letting me know that I need to drip more, But 0 flavor in between.
The butter rum was such a strong flavor for me, it was almost intense, like you actually had a life saver in your mouth.
I haven't had any AF all day, and am still getting nothing.

Tito's sad :(

Tito - I think this isn't a problem soley to do with AFB - I;ve not got any AFB yet but I do love my butter rum.
When I vape a LOT of any flavor Ive noticed the following day, sometimes DAYS, I can't taste it as well, if at all. I honestly think my tastebuds are just 'burned out' on that taste and anything LIKE It (I can't vape Dulce de LEche anytime close to butter rum, if I do I can't taste the DdL at all)
It almost as if your tastebuds need a break from that part of the taste spectrum (this is my very unmedical conclusion!). I can do coffee flavors after B'Rum without an issue - or anything that isn't in the 'super sweet' range is fine. DdL I am dripping constantly to try an get any flavor if its vaped the same day as B'rum tho (but not the other way around because B'Rum is the stronger flavor) and get lots of atty floods cos Im actually putting too much in. If I have a break from B'rum for a day or 2 then DdL vaped first is strong n lovely again.
I imagine AFB really exhausts the tastebuds and as its both sweet AND spicy that might be an issue for some of us. I know a few people use a minty or menthol vape to 'clear' the palate, but I can't say if that works cos I have no mint/menthol juices.

Tito breaks out the AFB atty...........he can smell it already without even loading it onto his battery............tito's taste buds start to tingle.......................:)............8-o................

:D

See? What other flavor do you need to vape?

Just buy the soon-to-be-renamed ATF all the time and your life is now simple... and switch to a KR8, 2-piece setup... it makes life even more simple... I'd much rather dedicate a $2 cartomizer to a flavor I DON'T LIKE, than an $8 (or whatever they cost) atomizer... just sayin'...

I have that problem with atomic fireball since I have vaped it for like 3 weeks now. So today I ordered sour stone so maybe I can change it up.

:lol::lol: Sour stone is another very strong flavor, very hard to get out of an atty and the flavor will stick with you quite a while. I do have to sayI love that stuff. If I wasnt drinking beer right now I would go vape some ATF!
