I always push people on the side of caution. If this is your first step into rebuilding you will want to start out making lower resistance coils. Usually around 1.2-2.0 ohm's, is where most of my friends start. Also make sure you are always making sure that you meter your coils to make sure they are good. Once you get more confident in your builds you can start working down to lower ohms. I stayed at 1.2-1.5 ohms for a good while, then went to .8-1.2 as I worked up my rebuilding skills.

Things that you should have when using a mech mod and rebuildable dripper are a ohm meter/voltage meter, really good batteries, a patience.

Patience is my only virtue....for now!

Yeah be careful!!!! I promise you don't want to also have to pay for plastic surgery on your face too……
I started by building around 1.5 ohm coils on my mech mod…I have really only gone down to 1 ohm because I did not feel like it was practical to burn more juices and have to constantly refill!

But daaaang nice setup:vapor:

I have never heard of those batteries so I would be very careful using them. after a quick search it looks like they can handle 5 amps at most. they would be better suited for a vv/vw mod then a mechanical. They have the equivalent to handle a load similar to a lesser qaulity smaller 18350 battery, which isn't great at all and wouldn't be able to handle a coil below 1 ohm very safely.

The sony 30 amp's vtc4 or even the purple efest 18650's would be a very good battery to get that isn't priced high.

Thanx. My first coil came out right at 1.0. It's late so I went with it. Great clouds, so so taste. Will wrap another tomorrow and play with the wick setup.

I intend to get some sonys asap. So far no sign of overheating or anything at 1.0. But I will be cautious. Til the morrow, peace.etc

This thing smokes hard. Running a single dragon coil and wick, setup at 1.1. Nice hit pretty smooth.
