Pulled the trigger a minute ago :D Been a vapor for almost two years or so, and getting tired of always adding a new battery to my orders. Been using KGO's and more recently the ego twist. I have a GLV and an OMEGA but since they lack the VV function I never use them. I'm hopefull I won't regret spending the money, It will be my at home vaper assuming It's as good as the reviews. Ordered the starter Kit with Blue LED. Also ordered A blue 6ml DCT to compliment it. The deciding factor for me was spending $25 per Ego twist. That will add up a lot over time. Quick question though. Whats the life span of the Battery's It comes with. Hopefully not as short as an Ego.

impatiently waiting......

You will be happy you got one. I just got mine Saturday and LOVING it. And I only been vaping going on 3 weeks. You might wanna try the Vivi Nova V2.5 or mini with it, Holy cow is all I can say.

^^Absolutely! The Vivi-Nova Mini with the Provari is my current setup...and the best setup I've ever had vaping.

I actually just ordered a reg vivi-nova since there are so many good review on them. The ship date for my provari just went from 2-5 days to 6-10 days. :( I'm going to need more juice! Anyone know where I can get Good Menthol juice in bulk? It's really all I vape. Currently vape Backwoods Brew stong menthol tobacco, but i'm going through it like crazy.

My 2 batteries have lasted me a year on my Provari. The life span of them have gone down about a hour a day in that year. This is using the 18490's. One will last me from 7am to about 10:30pm. I have the extension with two Provari Power 2500's but I hardly ever use them due to the length.
I just got two ViVi Nova's in last and after some break in, the flavor and vapor is now good. Took a couple hours for the (non-flavor)sweet taste to dissipate. My 2.4ohm head is actually reading 2.7ohm on the Provari though. I am curious how the other heads read. The 1.8ohm head I put on my wife's pipe is indeed reading 1.8 though.
I hope you get your Provari soon, you will love it.

O.k. so the mailman was a little wierded out when he saw the tent I was sleeping in right by the mailbox. But I have it!!! You guys are not kidding about the weight. This thing is heavy and beautiful. Going back and forth between my Vivi-Nova and DCT. They both look as if they are made for it. Both work excellent, and the vapes are more consistent than I've ever had. Dare I say I'm in love. :vapor:

I ordered mine Saturday morning so can I vape vicariously through you? Arrrg the wait is killin' me! I hope it ships tomorrow but you're right, it did say 6-10 (business) days to ship when I ordered mine (Silver Satin w/blue LED) so I can't really start whining until maybe...um...say 30 minutes from now.

I ordered a blue satin one on the 7th, it still hasn't shipped. So don't feel bad. It's for my mom, not for me, so I'm not feeling the anxiousness like she probably is. Apparently they were short on blue LEDs. Also I don't see where it says (business) days near the 4-6 day lead time.

When I ordered my black satin w/ blue LED, I placed the order on a Saturday and it shipped by Monday. That was awesome. Had my ProVari in 4 days!

Hmmm, thought I saw it somewhere on their site that it said business days but I must be wrong. Did they tell you they were running low on blue LEDS? Makes me almost wish I would've just gone with the red. Got to ask you...I was reading on a somewhat biased thread (can't remember what forum) that was saying that the ZMax hits harder than the ProVari even at 6 volts, is this true? I was really close to ordering the ZMax but I really need a very durable mod, and also the fact that every hit on the ProVari is the same until the batts dead was a huge selling point for me. Tell you what, I'll message you when mine ships, you message me when the one for your mom ships, deal?

I thought it said business days also, as is the case in most instances, but I looked thoroughly a couple days ago and couldn't find that wording.

As for the comparison between the ProVari and ZMax, imo, there is none. I never go over 5.3v on my Provari, normally at 4.5v-5v. Not everybody needs a super-hitting mod, which is definitely what the ZMax is, but the 2 things that you said are important to you, are the 2 things that make me say there is no comparison. If I feel like having ridiculous throat hit or whatever, I'll get me some 36mg nic juice and that hits my throat just fine. The ZMax loses hitting power significantly as the battery power decreases, probably due to the power output, almost to the point where I'm recharging my batteries at half full when I've been using them in the ZMax. The ProVari is very noticeably more durable and better built. I don't know where the ZMax is made, China I think, but the ProVari is from here in the good ol' USofA and I like to support my country in even the smallest of ways. Plus if I have a problem with it, the 1 or 2 year warranty is better than 6 months, and I don't have to ship it across the world for repairs or replacements. It took me a while to make my first mod purchase, went back and forth on several items, finally deciding on the ProVari. I don't regret it for a second. Funny thing is, since Aug 25th when I bought it, I have since purchased 2 more mods. One for my mom, and the ZMax as my backup device. Oh ya and a Twist for my fiance. I think I'm gonna get a Reo next, or some type of box. ZMax is a great backup and a hard hitter, plus VW is fun and interesting but I wish I could've gotten "Mr. Wobbles" at a lower price.

Don't regret the blue LED. You're going to love it and once you get it you'll be happy. Trust me. Patience is, more often than not, a virtue. Unless you like red LED, but given the fact you paid extra for blue I'm guessing you like blue.

I'll send you a pm when mine ships. Hopefully that's tomorrow.

I also considered the Zmax at first, however for me quality always wins out. You absolutely get what you pay for in this case. I don't think from what I read that the Zmax actually hits harder, it's that it vapes at a higher voltage than what you set it at. This was pretty evident in the review Pbasardo did. Not really a Horrible thing as long as your aware of it. I still may get one as a back up eventually. The price is steep for a provari, and I'm sure for a lot of people the Zmax would be great for them. For me though, the price is every bit worth it, and I know I made the right choice. There is a piece of mind that comes with something built with such quality.

Yeah, it's obvious the ProVari is in a different class than the ZMax. If it ever goes down in price I may pick one up as a backup but I just can't see paying $120.00 (only $39 less than ProVari!) for that mod. Off the subject but I'm so jealous of people that have a brick and mortar vape store they can go to, I was reading a thread by someone who bought their ProVari in a store! That would be so awesome if we had a vape store in Nashville, anyone want to open one up like say...in my back yard?

I thought about opening up a shop where I live. Everyone I know says I should since I seem to be the most knowledgeable and passionate about vaping. I have turned many people over to vaping and have sold many supplies and ecigs in different configs to people where I live.
The thing they never think about is, it would be MY money I would have to open the shop with. Starting a vape shop would be a slow start, it would pick up after awhile I feel but starting out, word of mouth would have to be strong.
I also think if you were to open a shop, you should carry allot of different manufacturers models. Variety is key in a lot of ways when dealing with ecigs. Some Chinese .... is OK to start people on, but once they see what is actually out there, you would lose a lot of those customers to internet sales unless you carried those items.

I read a post somewhere where someone was asking about the lack of promotion of E-cigs. My experience has been with everyone that I try to convert Is the lack of Brick and Mortar stores. Lots of folks do not like ordering online for various reasons. The amount of online shops, and different types is overwhelming even for an experienced vaper. IMO now is the time to get into the B&M business before that too becomes saturated. And it is my belief that will happen sooner than later. Imagine a vape lounge attached to a Starbucks! There are a few now, but to have a true Vape Lounge that sells both Provari types, along with EGo's and Zmax's ect. would be perfect! We need to put the crappy mall Kiosks out of business with shops that sell the stuff that works. Now can someone please open one is Wisconsin? :D
