Salem, thanks :)

Vaporgal, I had PM'd Dave and asked if he knew how to do it (or Pam) and he asked for me to post here so that he could create a sticky when someone posted a "how-to". So Dave/Pam, if you're around, that's what I'm doing for ya :)

MX - thanks, I have joined already :)

This is what I found:

I was able to link my FSUSA banner to their website, so when someone clicks the banner in my sig it takes them directly to FSUSA's homepage. I'm assuming everyones banner reads [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] on their edit signature page, if not you will have to replace [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] with whatever bbc code is currently displayed for your banner.

My code looks like this

url="http://freedomsmokeusa.com/"][SIGPIC][/SIGPIC][/url

You should be able to copy the above bbc code and paste it in your sig box, so the above code is all that's in your sig box.You will need to place brackets at the begging and end of the code like this [url********************url]. For some reason it wont let me fully display the code, so I had to remove the end brackets.

I hope this make sense and helps anyone that is interested in linking their banner.

Vaporgal, hope this helps you too!

OK, this isn't working for me??

gypsy, go to Free2Bme and copy it from her. She made a good one and doesn't mind if you use it. I am in a sandboxed browser and can't do it from here or I would have it.

Tried going to hers and it just links me to FSUSA...how do I copy it?? I'm so lost. Tried both ideas now and neither are working.

Here's a link to the banner http://www.freedomsmokeusa.com/FSUSA2.JPG

Open the link above and right click on the image and save the image to your computer(under "my pictures")

then click settings at the top of the forum page
then under "my settings" click edit signature
then under "upload signature picture" choose option 2 and click browse
find the image you saved under "my pictures" and double click on it
then you will click the upload button just below and to the right of the browse button you just used
You should now see the banner in your signature, just click save signature and you should be all set.

Try this and see if I explained well enough for you :)

It did work for me, thank you!
Not to sound rude, but was looking for the FSUSA Junkie one as well... do you have that one?

Maybe David could create a sticky with the two banners that are in the Junkie's Forum. Instructions would also be helpful. I've not had any luck inserting a banner in my signature. :(

Salem - What is a sandboxed browser?

If you don't use one, you should. When I am online I am actually working on a copy of my web browser instead of actually being in my web browser. It is a safety thing. Check in to sandboxie.

I think I figured it out. :)
Here's what my code looks like:

[SIGPIC]http://freedomsmokeusa.com[/SIGPIC]

1. I saved the picture to my computer.
2. Went to my settings to edit my signature and uploaded the pic.
3. I saved my new signature that just had the pic.
4. Then I clicked in between the [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] and then clicked the insert link
above in the toolbar area.
5. I then saved my signature again.

I'm horrible at explaining things. lol
Good luck and lmk if I can help maybe through pm or ?

Chris
