So many choices!! Thinking of going for the Sigeei 150 W, this too will be my first Box mod so looking to buy for the future proofing also. Doubt i will ever exceed 50w if i'm honest, but would like some more opinions around this and to the best tank/rba for a box mod like this?

Budget Max ( and i mean Max) $200
What i want/need :

  • Box Mod >50w (preferably 2 batteries for longevity)
  • Small as i can get
  • Cheap as i can get it
  • 4 of the best batteries for that Mod ( have seen sigelei batts - are these any good?)
  • Best Tank - Atlantis ?- Kanger Subtank?
  • Charger for 4 batteries

Have tried Bap Mod with an Atlantis - Sweeeeet deal but a little too outta my price range ( unless i ait 2 months and save).

Looking at :
  1. Sigelei 150w
  2. God Mod 180w ( though have read about the glue/melting issues)
  3. IPV2 70w ( not keen on the sensor if i'm honest)
  4. IPV3
  5. IPV4 100w ( coming out in March)
  6. SMOK Xpro BT50W Mod

Go with a Sigelei box either the 100 plus or the 150 I own both and they are excellent devices built rugged and perform flawlessly. I'm rocking the 150 with Sub-tank mini on it right now I rebuilt the .5 stock coil head with a 28gauge nichrome parallel coil 4 wraps on the little blue screwdriver running at 25.5 watts @ 0.40 ohms and get like 19 hours of vape time off the Sony VTC 5 batteries. I Have used the IPV3 and it's OK but the build quality isn't as refined or nice as the Sigelei and the Sigelei uses magnets where the IPV stuff uses screws for the battery bay door. I'm Sigelei fan never any issues and I can't say that of the IPV or Clopour stuff but I would take the IPV over the Clopour as I have had 3 Clopour mini 30 devices with display issues they went to sleep and never woke up. If you are looking for high power handling tank look at a billow or a UD Goblin they are very good but build like a dripper.

I'm suggesting this not recommending since I don't have it but check out the iStick 50 watt. It's smaller than most of the dual 18650 box mods and much cheaper than anything else you'd get considering the fact that a charger and 4 batteries would set you back at least $50. The 4400 mah battery should be fine if you're using tanks to get between 1-2 days use.

Dude youll never regret getting the Sigelei 150. I was lucky and scored mine on ebay (genuine registered with serial number) on a good score when they came out for 88$. I have an IPV3 and God Mod 180 and they collect dust while my Sigelei stays warm and practically glued to my hand. Check illumn for good batteries and charger (VTC4 or Samsung 25r is your best bet). Samsungs 25r on sale for 6$ each and great chargers for 20+. As reputable a site as you can get as well. I use a plume veil 1.5 and a zenith V2 on it predominantly and I build 0.19Ω dual zipper coils and the Sigelei still lasts me 12-14hrs (most ppl 2-3 days but I high wattage vape and chain vape thoroughly). 200 is more than enough to get set up. Youll never regret it

I'm right there with the Sigelei recommendation. I have a 100w (non-Plus) and it is fantastic - well made and dependable. Be aware that they are not the smallest mod, though I got mine for the battery life and it doesn't leave the house - not the most pocket friendly mod. For out and about I'm now carrying a Reo or iStick30 with a Subtank Mini.
