Okay, so anyone that pays any attention to my posts knows that my every day, all day vape is Mt. Baker Vapor's Bavarian Cream, 24mg, 2 extra flavor shots, 65/35.
But I waited a little too long to place the order for my replacement juice (in preparation for my MVP on Christmas, I plan on going through a lot of it), and had run out. The Shell gas station down the road a bit starter carrying disposable, pre-filled clearomizers and Bare Naked brand e-liquids. A 10ml bottle of 70/30 18mg was only $3, so I decided to pick some up before I got really desperate and anxious over running out of juice. I opted for the Caramel Mocha flavor since I do enjoy sweeter flavor more than anything else.
My experience with juices in general is that they run the gamut of "this tastes exactly as described" to "this tastes like vaping everclear and cheap fruit juice". I must say, I was absolutely impressed by the BN brand juice.
It actually tastes, well, very much like a cup of black coffee. Not really catching many of the caramel or chocolate notes, unless they mean dark chocolate since it is a little bit more bitter than a cup of coffee. That being said, however, I LOVE coffee. This juice may not taste exactly what it says it does, but it is very strongly flavored of coffee, with nutty undertones that remind me a lot of the exhale of a high quality, medium flavor profile cigar.
Will it convert me from my ADV? Absolutely not. Nothing compares to the flavor I get from the MBV Bavarian Cream, but knowing that I will be able to, with minimal effort, get a juice that I have no problem letting tide me over until my vapemail arrives, I won't be sweating it any time soon.
Throat hit is a little stronger than my MBV, but that juice is more mellow on the whole than this juice. It has a lower nicotine level than my ADV, but I'm thinking perhaps the flavorings may go quite a long way toward giving that little "thump" in the back of my throat. I also use BCCs, so my throat hits are never particularly strong.
Anyway, I strongly recommend at least trying this brand of juice. The vapor production is good, the throat hit is good and the flavor is something that I don't find entirely disagreeable.
