ok so I'm officially 1 week into vaping with 0 analogs. This is all still very new to me but the more I figure out the more I enjoy this stuff. I found a juice that I love and I have been vaping it 3 days now. Weird though today its barely vaping and no throat hit at all. I am using an ego twist with a pro tank. I have put my pro tank mini on the same battery with a different juice and it vapes and hits hard. I have checked everything with the pro tank and even put a new coil in and still very light amount of vapor with barely any taste or throat hit. I'm wondering did I overvape this juice? Did I kill my taste buds? haha sorry its just all to strange to me and I love this flavor! Im wondering if anyone has had this happen or know why it would happen

Have you cleaned and dry burned your coils yet? I clean my Protank and coils every day or two. If the coil get gunked up it will Vape like crap!
The OP said the Head was changed.
Is it producing about the same amount of Vapor?
Have you Fully Recharged your Battery?
Have you tried raising the Voltage slightly?
Protank runs a 2.5ohm(approx) head
Evod may have a lower resistance and could perform better at the same power output.

Also, ProTank kits come with 2 different ohm coils. Is it possible the low ohm coil was in it and you swapped it out with the new (higher ohm) coil?
It could also be the center post. It the tank was over tightened it can push the center post down so it's got weak contact.
I would definitely check the charge first though. You wouldn't be the first one here to have issues with a shoddy charger.
My wife uses a puritank with protank coil heads at 3.6volts with no problems and with a twist airflow wouldn't be an issue so I would guess it is the contact not touching the protank firing pin good. But what makes no sense is you used a mini and it works fine do that makes me think the twist is fine hmm give me 5 minutes to think or a more experienced vaper to come in with advice.
The centerpins on the tank itself could be sitting lower. Is the centerpin on the tank below the threaded portion of the tank?
Sounds like your head is clogged
I find that if my tanks start hitting weak I give it several good "hard fast powerful draws" so much that it sounds like it's going to start whistling (the coils [specifically the wick under the coils] have started gooping up and getting less and less flow to vaporize)
If that doesn't work..drain the juice back in the bottle...then wash it all out real good, since you put a new head on it and it hit good

First thanks for all of the responses! The centerpin appears to be normal. Ive tried on multiple batteries at different v's and its the same. However the protank mini is firing amazing however it is a different juice in the mini which makes me think its something with the juice?
Hmm have you taken 1 of the 2 flavor wicks out of the coil head? Maybe because of the juice is it thick? Getting no juice to vaporize it might have to take out both! Not the wick in the center of the coil the wick I am talking about is laying on top of the coil.
Yes if juice is getting in there to fast it will gurgle and also cause this effect.
If it started good, then tapered off it's not the juice...its the coil and wick
My first few days in and I was experiencing similar symptoms. Here's what worked for me:
First - water, water, water.
Second - Every once in a while, change flavors. At least for a few hours.
