Away

Distant

Gone :(

Yes, the flooding was very sudden, it was actually a rare occurrence,
an Inland Tsunami !!!!!!!

amazing - and the rain was so intense it just burst river banks
and the flooding was very fast and the waters have been very fast moving
like white water rapids on a huge scale,
and many fatalities have occurred,

but this is all in the North East of the continent,
I live in the South.

This is not good. At least the silver lining on the cloud is that our Di is still OK. I saw some photos of a big city that was flooded also. I hope the rain is not hampering your social activity?

I think it is not just you guys who are praying for the victims. I think that is worldwide. I saw some photos, and it is a lot of water. We have had some out of the ordinary weather phenomena also. Up north, there was a lot of rain, whilst some of the southern places are very dry, and dams dried up. Weird.

So in the social department you are obviously having a good kick off to the New Year. That is awesome.

Yes, the world weather seems very strange lately,

people are saying that the seasons are changing as the years pass, soon all seasons will be reversed, -- very wierd indeed.

Yes, my new year has started well,
new people, new activities,

hopefully a new friend or two, and some fun fun fun fun -------

List

The seasons can change, just as long as we do not get the cold winters that the northern hemisphere has. I love warm summers and lots of sunshine.

I always joke. I stay about 200 meters from the beach. If Global warming continues, I can have a beach front property, and a more valuable property. (I suppose it is not a laughing matter, but crying about it is surely not going to solve it either).

No, I agree,

crying about things is not going to change anything.

we need Governments with B----s,
put an end to the pollution and choking the air that we breathe.
and to the killing of the planet we live on, ------

this is very appropriate ------

and all governments just do not care -----
they allow it to happen -----

Yes, I agree, the problem is ----

there is so much money to be made as you could see plainly in the Segal vid clip,

the companies make multi billions dollars ,
and they give huge amounts to government,

so of course why would government want to stop them ?????????

They have no care for our planet or for our great grandchildren.

How sad when our great grandchildren will only ever see a Tiger - or a tree --

in a book or in a video clip !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Money makes the world go round. Sometimes I wonder if the world would not be a better place if no money existed. I once watched a documentary of people living on an Island with no currency what so ever. The fish and farm the island, and everything all the produce gets divided into equal portions between the families. What struck me was that there were no Rich people, no poor people, but all of some seemed very happy and content with what they had. Obviously they were brought up in this total different culture.

Ballroom

Rock Club

Disco

yes, I think the world would be a much better place if we all were living a much simpler life,

we have all become too greedy and we all want everything that money can buy

we have forgotten the important things that make life really worth while,

like, the simple comforts of life like a warm fire, a goodmeal, and good friendships,

everything now is - how much have i got and how much more can I get ------

when you find that island, --- bring me there please. ---
