Edit -

Where are you seeing this? Which website?

If you are looking to DIY, you can buy in these ways, depending on where you order:

1) Buy separate PG and VG, then a nicotine solution (6,12,18,24,36,48,60,100 mg) that can be in either a PG/VG blend, or just as PG or just as VG
2) Buy a 50PG/50VG blend, then a nicotine solution...
3) You can buy a premixed 50PG/50VG blend in the following concentrations - 6,12,18,24,36,48,60,100 mg

I'm glad you posted this question. I just thought the pure base was how you bought your nic and the unflavored e-juice was just that - nic, pg/vg ratio you wanted. No flavors. I've been DIY'ing for the better part of a year so it is just proof........you learn something new about vaping everyday. Thank goodness. Good luck to ya and happy mixing. Welcome to ecf and all the wonderful people here to help.

Unflavored is just that. unflavored E Juice. What ever ratio they offer or you choose. (ie 50/50 80/20 VG/PG) This juice is ready to vape without flavor. Base is what you use to DIY your own. You decide what ratio and nic level by how you mix it. You can get nic in levels anywhere from about 24 to 100mg/ml. You have to do the math to mix. figure out how much you will be mixing and how many total MG of nic you want.

Flowerpots thank you I'm a noob and really want to start DIY but am a little nervous about mixing nicotine right now so this may be the solution for now to get me started.

You're welcome :vapor:

There are vendors that sell a 50/50 VG/PG mix at low nicotine concentration levels....6 mg, 12 mg, 18mg, etc. This is the easiest way to measure and will prevent any calculation mistakes.

Before you jump in DIY, read the flavoring threads to get an idea of which ones are good from each manufacturer. This will save you frustration and money in the long run.

Good luck! :)
