Will this tip fit on a standard size Boge carto?

I'm looking at getting the VPX carto tank.

I can't really tell from the models which are 2.5ml and which are 5 ml. Can someone help me out with that?

Yes, those will fit. Any 510/901 drip tip will fit.

The dual coil tanks are the larger of the 2 tanks.

Yeah, I have no choice but to pull that one. I do understand though how it seems silly to others. But truth is, I really really enjoy vaping. Even more than I ever did smoking. Maybe some day it'll taper off but for now I love it.

Another quick question, although it is too late anyway since I placed the order. Does the acrylic drip tip not melt being so close to the coil in the carto? Hope not.

Many 510 drip tips I've bought, especially the Cherry Vapes Dream drips Ming and Pawn, have o-rings that are too fat to fit in my Boge cartos. They also won't fit in my TW 510 atomizer. I think they are designed to fit in some particular atomizers and dual coils. I think I even saw one vendor state that they don't fit in Boge.

Also - I have bought many other 510 drip tips to try on my Boges. So far the delrin at V4L, the plain clear colored from LiteCigUSA.net, and the marbled vase ones from Gotvapes fit. The swirled ones from LitecigUSA.net, twist ones from Nhaler, the plain vases from Gotvapes, and as I said the Ming and Pawn by Cherry Vapes did not fit. I saw some people on the forum say they sand down the o-ring to make them fit but that can lead to needing a new o-ring.

At the same time - some people manage to fit the same drip tips in Boges. I am not going to force it - the idea is to have a tip I can easily remove. Cherry Vapes says Boges vary in diameter (I have not seen that). But I do know the O-rings vary. Some o-rings are fatter than others (especially those red ones) and the fat o-rings generally till not fit in Boge. So when I shop for drip tips, I look for ones with o-rings that don't bulge out a lot.

Bottom line - I think it varies. With some drip tips it can be a bit of a crapshoot which kind of o-ring you get. Every non-fitting drip tip I've bought has a hard end that WOULD fit in the Boge if the o-ring would let it.

Damn, already ordered it. The good thing though is that I have lots of o-rings at work of varying thicknesses so *should* be able to find one that works. Thanks for the tip.

On a side note, I probably could have made a carto tank myself because part of my job involves being a machinist/designer/fabricator. I just don't know what the inside of the tanks look like etc. I assume it has internal o-rings to seal where the carto goes? Easier to spend the $30 this time round.

What do you do if you have an almost full tank and your carto dies? How do you change it out and salvage the juice without a mess? Maybe it's easy or obvious once having one in hand, but I've never handled one.

Is there any reason I can't put a filler hole and set screw into the side of the tank? Is the tank acrylic? Or maybe there is one and it just doesn't show up on the pics on the website.

you will know exactly what to do to mod it (being a machinist/designer/fabricator) once you do get a hold of it, I am sure. Maybe even give some tips in here once you improve it. I've never seen a tank, other than pics, so I couldn't even explain it to you. But I do know from reading in here, they are simple and for the most part easy to use. Within a week you should be able to start playing with one LOL (oops, no pun intended)

Maybe yours will fit. You can try sanding the o-ring or replacing it. I already bought 3 Mings and 2 Pawns and just saving them for when I have something they fit. But some day I may try replacing the non-fitting o-ring of a cheaper drip tip with orthodontic rubber bands in and see if I can get that to work. And if it works I'll try it on a Pawn or Ming.

BTW one person said they took the skinny o-ring off a cheaper drip tip and moved that to the drip tip that wouldn't fit. These clear colored plastic drip tips with no swirls (the ones that come in 7 plain colors) usually have what seem to be slimmer o-rings and usually fit in my Boges (and lots of places sell these).

And BTW if Gotvapes will ship to Canada, their marbled vases are very nice - just not as big as Ming and Pawn and not as artistically designed. But the clear vase would not fit for me. I bought almost all of them haha.
