I am still a newb so, be easy. I've got a Vtube SS mini on preorder and I am looking for a good tank & carto combination for it. One thing that has been preventing me from moving forward is I do not know what size tank is designed for the different sized cartos (regular boge, xl boge, i've recently heard of xxl boge, DCT carto). I prefer the ease of use and performance of the tank carto combo from my experience with the smoktech DCT 1.5ohm I use on my ego batt's (650mah). BTW thank you Vapor Rising Tampa, FL for reccomending this set up to me for my first PV.

From what I gather it looks like the 3 ohm SC carto from Boge is the best option or most recommended, but what size and what tank. I have seen tanks like Nhaler VPX, Phiniac, J-tank, Mom & Pop's Sub & Mini Sub, Bud 510 from puresmoke, Arry ACT v3, and they all seem to come in different size variations. What I am looking for is a pretty clean set up preferably in SS. I don't want the cartos to be sticking out the top or bottom of the tank's or that the tank diameter be larger than the Vtube SS mini diameter. I would like a pretty flush fit for the tank on the PV and the drip tip on the top of the tank if possible and without the need for an adapter or extra long drip tip.

I am curious to know if the DCT cartos in 2.5ohm or 3ohm and likewise the 3ohm single coil tank cartomizer from alt smoke are any good for Vtube. I appreciate the help everyone and if you have any pics to include for a visual of your recommendation that would be great. Thanks.

The bigger tanks (longer) are for DCT and xl boge cartos. I have 5 of the 5.5ml J tanks that I use and they work great and use either 2.0 ohm or 3.0 ohm cartos. If you want a nice stainless tank I would recommend BigDaddyVapor.com, their 3ml tanks are for regular cartos (2 or 3 ohm) and their 5ml tanks are for Dual Coil of XL cartos.

Forgot to say that if you want something roughly the same diameter of the vtube the 5.5ml J tank will be too big but the 3ml would be fine. The tanks at big daddy should be close to the same diameter as well for your setup. I will try and take some pics and post here for ya. Might take a little bit but I will try to do it as fast as possible.

I assume you use the XL cartos (Boge) with those, how do they fit? Is the top of the carto flush with the top of the tank top?

I just ordered the Vtube SS from apollo as well... Haven't looked much into tanks yet, so definitely interested in this thread, but I know with the Lavatube, most of your Low Res Dual Coil's are only going to vape at 3.6-3.8V, no matter what it's set at, the only way to get a higher voltage is to go standard (3 ohm) resistance single coil cartomizer... I'm waiting on a tank until I've had mine and can play around with some different style cartomizers to see what I like best...

Thanks for the response, MattyT has been helpful. I understand that the LR will pretty much limit the voltage, some only to 3.7. I am interested in reviews of some higher ohm 2.5 -3.0 ohm DCT cartos reviews as well as a review on the alt smoke 3.0 ohm SCT carto I have seen as they fit my current tanks, but so far no one has any experience with them.

Since you're using variable voltage, I would suggest the XL Boge 3ohm cartos for your tank.
