so i wanna start a project of building a mod. im pretty content with basic vaping, like 3.8v, or even just the basic 3.6v (i think thats the standard for non vv ego batteries isnt it?)
i just want a BIG battery.

from the little research ive done (dont worry im gonna do more)
i basically just need a battery, battery connectors (i dont know official names and stuff), id probably get the vv board used in the puck mod if its still around, a firing button, and...a connector to my atomizer. which i could get a 510/ego connector couldnt i?

and i have a general idea of ohms and resistiance and stuff from physics class in high school, and i'd do more research on that to make sure i dont bust my whole mod before it even works or have a battery explode in my face.

so basically i just wanna get all the parts i need for a basic mod with probably the biggest battery i can get and put in into some nice looking box or tube i make. possibly passthrough? or i'd build a separate pass through device...

for a diy passthrough, all i'd need is for it to get 2 amps of power, and put out like 3.6/3.8 volts ish and just solder the right wires to eachother from like some old usb thing right?

sorry for the long post, and for sounding like i dont know what im talking about. i promise i have a general idea of what im doing lol.

Hey,I was once were you are and what I did just to get my feet wet was go to Mad Vapes and build one of there kits , there only 14500 battery kits but it was good learning there not bad battery's used them for the longest time and built alot of mods with them but now I've been using 18500 and all my builds have them,I would recommend starting slow and do alot of reading there is alot to learn and you don't want to blow your self up, good luck and take it slow.

If you're interested in the basics, my old thread on the Low Cost Mod strips the PV to its essentials, and discusses voltages and things. It's a hardwired design, but a good way to start building and get your feet wet on the cheap. (The thread has been closed to replies; apparently someone crossed the No Sale rule, but my original posts are still gold.)
