Great job .... cool little piece, just never saw the need to use a 901 though.
Between 306/510/801 from both Cisco and IKV I don't need to "discover" another atty :)

I don't get much mileage out of the 801 personally. This 901 2.0 ohm Cisco is rocking my world though. Can't imagine using it w/o a drip shield!

Thank you for the review and the link to the site--exactly what I need! I've been using a Reo Grand with a 901 atty, and the juice always ends up coming out of the vent hole and collecting in the reservoir. Unfortunately with a 901, the juice just stays in the reservoir and never gets sucked back in through the vent holes like it would were i using a 510 with the vent holes on the bottom. My laughable ( and somewhat pathetic) solution to this has been to fasten one of my son's orthodontic rubber bands just below the 901 vent hole like an o-ring to try and catch the juice. It works some of the time, but most of the juice is still dripping down to the reservoir and ultimately all over the place!
Really looking forward to picking up a few of these drip shields...

I think this will be PERFECT for the problem you're describing!

It might be a snug fit. It depends on whether or not you are using a 901 via adapter.

The 510 itself isn't long enough for the shield to work properly w/o one. So again, unless you're using a 510 via a 510 to 510 adapter, it won't work.

I got some of the drip shield's in last week and a few LR 901's The seam to work ok on the Woodvil with a 510/ 901 stealth adapter. I did have to open up the holes on the drop shield like the web site said to give me more air flow.

Tomorrow I will try using a standard 510 to 901 adapter to see how that works.

The gold ones look cool on the woodvil being it has a brass catch cup. Now to find another Super T brass DT. :)
Just remember to check your addaptor to make sure it is in good working order.

Interesting. I have the 510 connection and saw that there was a bridged adapter for it. I love those Cisco 306 atomizers but they drip sometimes, mainly because I haven't mastered the squonk. Will the drip shield fit inside the drip cup..... is that where the snug fit comes in? The gold one would look really good, I'm eying the flat one! I saw one guy putting it on his Reo Mini and it apparently fit on that.
