pure vg
pure pg
20% nic 80% pg mixture for nicotine.

I'm wanting a nicotine level arouns 2.4

I'm confused in the calculators by the nicotine base liquid .

I have a 250ml bottle of PG and a 250 ml bottle of vg and a 250 ml bottle of 20%nic mixed with 80%pg wnated
just make a big batch of base liquid at around 2.4 nic level and store that. What would the calculation be?

Thanks

So your nic is 200mg/mL (super strong, be careful with that stuff). Lets say you want to make 100mL... You will want to take 12 mL (24mg/mL*100mL = 2400mg ---> x*200mg/mL=2400mg ---> x=12mL) of your nic juice. That will put you at 24mg/mL.

I always find it better to work in mg. Lets say you want 32.5 mL of juice at 24mg/mL strength. 24mg/mL*32.5mL=780mg nicotine ----> 780mg=200mg/mL*x ----> x=3.9mL Just as an example.

What ratio's do you want your base? Do you want to stay at 20%PG/80%VG?

If you are staying at 24mg/mL, just always mix your batches at 12% nic juice (From above: 12mL/100mL=0.12*100=12%).

No, it won't. So, the way this works is we'll say your nic is 100% PG (volume of nic is negligible for this calculation, measurements will never be perfect). So, when you put those 12mL of you nic juice in you have already taken up some volume, and since it's 100% PG, you will need to add less PG than you do VG. Here would be a good base mix if you want 100mL of base:

50mL VG
38mL PG
12mL Nic

Make sense?

Note: Forgot a 0 in my calculations above. Please check it out again.

You can take that base recipe and multiply each value by any integer to get the same ratios for a different size batch.

For Example: 500mL of Base ----> 50*5=250mL VG 38*5=190mL PG 12*5=60mL Nic

If you have a smartphone, mine running Android, download the app called "E-Liquid Calculator."

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.boggi.esig

It takes all the guess work or approximations and makes things very very simple. All you have to do is input what you have, and then input what you want, then it provides you with the answers.
