Heyuz, oh masters of the eUniverse... :)

I'm kinda stuck at the "understanding different battery types" phase. I'm an 808 & 510 user, so I get most of that, but I'm starting to glean that some of the other battery types might actually be the same thing, and I just can't find any lists or descriptions that group them together by compatible threads.

I often see 901 listed side-by-side with 808, so suspect the threads are the same, although if that's the case then I don't get why they've got different names. And then, a few days ago, I got my hands on a 530 kit, thinking it was a 510 variation, only to discover it has the same threads as an 808!

This is all incredibly confusing, so if anybody can point me at a definitive list that shows the different batt types, a compatibility list for their respective threads, and maybe even a description of those different types (ie. why they have the different numbering schemes), I'd be extremely grateful. :)

Thanks!

There's no chart that is complete but here's one. Best to ask about one specifically on the forums. eg - "does the 306 atty fit on a 510 battery?" - answer: yes!
