batteries anyone?

hello everyone
i purchased 2 battery packs that run on 4 1.5 Volt AA batteries. it works fine with my USB passthrough but im having trouble finding rechargeable 1.5 volt batteries for this. all of the rechargeables i found are 1.2 volts and wont power the passthrough. does anyone know where i can find 1.5 volt rechargeables? or if higher voltage is available, where to find those and will they work?

I've never seen any other then the 1.2v but they equal 4.8v and your e-cig only needs 3v to 4.2 anyway so should be good. The operating volts on my E-pipe is 4.2 full charge and the internal circuit cuts it off at 3.18v but it runs the penstyle atomizer for 5 hours on this 1v usable range.

Thanks 4 the reply Vince, I put 4 newley charged 1.2s in the pack , plugged in the usb .got nothing. I than put the 4 non rechargs. in and it worked fine. must be the pack itself but i don't have a clue. thx again 4 your reply...Chuck

May be the pack has a cutoff at low volts. USB stuff is supposed to be 5v and 4 of the 1.5v gives you 6v so this could be the issue. Where did you get the packs?

Manufactures tips said make sure batts fit tightly,add foam cushion if necessary. I snapped batts back in ,spun em a few times and it worked! thanks again Vince

you can get rechargable alkalines (RAM) at 1.5 volt but they aren't cheap .:

1.5V AA Rechargeable Alkaline (RAM) Batteries & Charger on eBay, also, Charger Battery Combos, Batteries Battery Chargers, Consumer Electronics (end time 09-Apr-09 20:40:08 BST)

ahh the good ol' screwdriver...simply the best e-cig currently available.

Had mine for some months now and its my main smoker . never had any issues with it and is working as great today as it did the day it arrived.

a new atomizer every 2 or 3 weeks and trouble free vaping. no leaking carts, no dead batteries no cut-off issues..it just works, your in for a treat
