the lifepo4 chemistry is such that the battery will not explode as reg li ions will so this makes them the safest battery to use in 6v mods. I would definitely buy and use these..

yes they dont have pcb but still the safest battery to use..

check out AW anti explosion batteries if you want the best. google AW batteries. cost more but they are the best for the uese we use them for..

DealExtreme: $4.50 17340 / CR123A Rechargeable Lithium LiFePO4 Battery 2-Pack (350mAh)

These just work, and 350mah may sound low but it is a true figure. And they are cheap. What you see is what you get.

i was thinking about those batteries. ive purchased all of my 18650 batteries from dealextreme that i use in my ultrafire flashlight and now my SB as well

i even already have the ultrafire wf-138 charger for those batteries. but the way i vape...ill drain those 350mAh batteries in less than 2 hours

im hoping that the mAh ratings on the other batteries are accurate

6v is not truely recommended, but if I were to choose a set of batteries,
Rechargeable Batteries & Battery Chargers - 4 RCR123A 3.0V 900mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Protected Batteries with a Smart Charger

This would be the set I would be using, the LiFePo4 are not truely protected with a PCB. :)

Exact same kit at battery junction for $28. Its nice because it comes with a house and car charger + 4 batts. You can pick up extras two for $10 if four is not enough.

This is what I use in my SB and I love the way it vapes. I get better battery life out of the 18650's but I enjoy the taste and extra vapor that I get from these RCR123 batts.

At the price, and with free postage included, I bought 3x sets of two.
Yeah, I have the WF-138 too and it charges these babies up in double quick time :)
I couldn't get the Tenergy 900mah to work in my SB. They would work for a few hits then just die. These LiFePO4 things work great, i'd say I can get an average 3.5hrs out of a pair.

Are you able to tighten the top all the way down with these?

I bought 2 cr123a protected and I can only get the top about 2/3 of the way on without using a lot of force.

With the SB? Hell ya. There is some extra room as the spring is not all the way compressed too. Mine it completly screwed together as normal. They fit perfect in the SB. Normal 123A's fit fine too (they are the same size) but I do not waste them in a PV.

Don't know about the BB.

My batteries are marked "Ultrafire 16340 880mah Re/Dischar9in9 Protection Circuit", They are 3.0 volts purchased from MadVapes.

Thanks!
Odd, sounds silly, but can you make sure your bottom has a single spring only. Some batteries are oversized, I have had a set of CR123 measure 36mm in length each. The SB can compliment 69-70mm total batt length.

Since these seem to be the safest battery, I just want to check that these are the right ones.

Yup, only a single spring.
I tried to install them again and was within 1-2mm of fully closed. Maybe my unit just has a more manly spring.
Not really a big deal, I'm good with 3.7.
