The HG2 is a 20A continuous discharge rated battery. I use them as well as Samsung 25R in my higher wattage regulated mods, you can't go wrong with either of them. I like to buy from Orbtronic, they are very highly respected.

Theoretically, yes, but batteries and chargers with "fire" in the name are generally very low quality. You're better off with a charger by Xtar, Nitecore or Efest LUC.

Beware of anything with the word "fire" in the name (with the exception of SureFire) Nitecore chargers have a good reputation, and have been safe and reliable for me.

Yeah they are high priced, but for folks making their first foray into rechargables for vaping, there is some peace of mind there. Supposedly they get their stuff from LG and Samsung and buy only top bin, no seconds or thirds like you may run into on Ebay or other discount places. Here's a good video on them.

I use HG2's in my VTC mini and a mech mod and charge them in the 2 bat Trustfire charger. I also charge 18500's in there and some lower quality 18650's I use in a Zamx 15W VW mod.
Works fine for me, been using one for several months and have another in the wrapper as a backup just in case.
The trust fire chargers were used by others for flashlight lithuim batteries and such for a long time.

they do not charge as fast as some of the other chargers but work fine.
If yours has a switch on the side just make sure it is set to 4.2 setting.

I also recommend the 20A 3000mAh LG HG2. If you want to use the Pegasus batteries I recommend the 3000mAh Type B's.

Do you recommend the Nitecore Chargers?
I am definitely going with the Joyetech vtc mini and will be using your recommended LG Hg2 batteries..Do you have a preferred vendor for these batteries ?
