I buy batteries from reputable vendors only, IMO too many fakes on ebay and the like.
Batteries are the last place to try to save a few dollars with vaping stuff.

get the sonys but get them from a real vendor, not ebay. Sun-vapers.com is where I got mine, they have good prices and the blog there is excellent

AW batteries for sure, they are definitely worth a few extra bucks. I've been using them for years and never had one fail, I own at least 40 or more of them. RTD vapor is a excellent supplier and ships out fast!

Definitely don't skimp on batteries (for safety sake if nothing more) and never trust eBay. That said, I gifted my AW 18650s since I bought VTC4s to replace them for the higher 30 amp discharge rate.

I just bought 4 more sony vtc4. they are the only battery i'll trust, especially since im pushing 17+ amp on most of my builds these days. I'm sure once I get over my cloud chasing phase i'll get some aw 18490 but for now, I only feel safe with that 30 amp limit

Worried I may have some counterfeit MNKE 18650s on hand. None of these were purchased from reputable vendors (ebay).I have used the ones pictured on the right with a .5 ohm dual coil rda with out problems. I just received the ones on the left and was worries by the different appearance. The labels both seem to be printed the same (no dot matrix printing) but there is some bubbling/wrinkling on the labels of the ones I just purchased (left side). I don't think the label wrinkles would show up well in a photo. Any feedback? Thanks.

and

Triangle Vape LLC has the VTC4's for $7.00 each and they are probably out of stock but the Purple Efests for $7.50

I have bought from both vendors and they are legit.
