I'm having a personal battle with myself and I hope you GG owners (or prospective owners) can help me out.

I'd like to bring in a full line of batteries and chargers for the GG's but I'm afraid since many of you already know where to get batteries that I might just be chunking $1500 out the window for paperweights. I really can't offer any cheaper prices than the battery outlet websites so there is no cost savings (might even cost you more) for me to carry them.

Should I bring in a full line of batteries and chargers?

Just batteries maybe?

I've searched high and low for a quality universal charger to charge ALL battery types but unfortunately it doesn't exist as far as I can tell. If anyone knows of one please let me know.

Heeeeeeeeelp!

Rob

Good input guys. You helped me make up my mind already...carry the batteries and chargers. I've already got the Slims covered because they use the same batteries as the RN-4062 e-Cigar which we will be selling starting tomorrow (after they get here). I ordered extra 10440 batteries and chargers (good quality) with them just for the Slim.

I've also got 800mah CR123 3.0v protected batteries on the way. I'll put another order in tomorrow for the other common battery sizes (18650, 14500, CR123 3.7v and probably some CR2's). The kicker is the dadgum battery chargers for these things...the universal ones I found are CHEEEEEEEEAP and I don't mean price, I mean they are China Cheesy CHEEEEEEEAP. I'll keep looking...

Mwa, 75 more AFS atties as well as AFS units and Slims are on the way. I'm having Imeo ship them a more expensive way this time so they will get here much faster. No quantity limit on the atties this time...I should have ordered more on the first round and I apologize to those who couldn't grab any.

We will get this ironed out soon...more good things are to come :)

A full selection of batteries and chargers are on the way. Magnetic spacers are on the way also.

What's coming?

UltraFire 18650 3.7v 3000mAh
UltraFire 14500 3.7v 900mAh
UltraFire 16340 (CR123A) 3.6v 880mAh
UltraFire 10440 3.6v 500mAh
Tenergy CR123A 3.0v 900mAh

Various QUALITY chargers for the above batteries.

The 3.0v CR123's should be here first/mid next week. Probably the following week on the others.

I am still trying to source GOOD CR2's...

The batteries I mentioned in the first post turned out not to be protected cells so I am sending them back.

Since your selling top shelf PV Im sure your customers would appreciate top shelf batteries to go with them. Look into AW batteries. They definitely cost more but they are of a much higher quality resulting in much better performance, accurate mah ratings (most are way less than stated)safety reliability etc. Youll find protected versions and LifePo4 which are safer than protected

Heres a link and you can also googlefor more info.

As far as cr2's go you wont find any protected versions anywhere so since there is a demand for cr2 with alot of people getting the AW's would be the best and safest option for your customers that insist on using them.

There is 1 place South Summit that sells a cr2 Lifepo4 chemistry which again is the safest of all but the mah rating is very low (250mah) and the quality of them looks to me anyway looks shady at best. Iyou google South Summit cr2 LifePo4 it should bring it up for you and you can decide

Alot of people dont know about these higher quality batteries so it might be a great option for your customers to have and something else that sets you apart from the crowd even more.

Anyway just throwing ideas your way hope it helps.

Vapn,

Thanks for the heads up on the AW batteries. I'm going to order a few to test out for myself. I saw the CR2's you were talking about and yeah they do look a little el cheapo. Who knows though, could just be poor packaging...I'll get a couple and test them out.

Thank you for the input!

No problem. I see I forgot to to put the link up for AW so here it is but you probably might have found this already.
