I'm seeing a lot about mega batteries, super batteries, etc. Are these just longer lasting or do they produce more power/heat to the atty? Also I see several types(brands) of 510's. Are the parts interchangeable?

Adapters are available...... I got 901 to 510, 510 to 901 and 510 to 801 through Altsmoke for around 12 dollars each I think....... There were other adapters available ..... Am sure other manufacturers will make them........

The 510 parts are interchangeable. I can't answer about the power of the mega batteries, but I have read that they don't fit into the PCC since they are longer (seems like someone figured out a way to hold the lid down on the PCC, which pushes the battery down to engage in charging, but I don't remember what they did).

I've been using a 510 for the last 4+ weeks, been getting a good 10-12 hours out of the batt!
Just got a 901(yesterday), batt seems smaller so giving it a full days test today!
The 510 and 901 dont use the same charger, power rating is the same, but the 510 batt has the screw threads inside of the batt and the 901 has them on the outside.
Also there are 2 'breather holes' on the 510, but only 1 on the 901! This may have some affect on the batt life/atty heating?
