Brand new user here. Just got a 510 kit and PCC a few days ago and haven't touched an analog since. The only oddity with my order is that the battery doesn't fit in the PCC. It sticks out just a tad too far for the lid to close (about 2mm). I measured the length of the battery at 71mm. I asked the seller about it and all he did was tell me to stick the battery in the right hand hole (well, duh).

If anybody can confirm that the battery is the standard length or guide me to a shop that will guarantee they have the correct PCC for my 510 I would really appreciate it. I have some other stuff I'd like to pick up, too.

I had one before, I don't think you need to screw in the battery though. Your battery has a button, you have to align the button w/ the slot where you charge the battery. On the slot where you charge the battery, you will see there a space for the button, so it slides in perfectly. After you slide it in, just close the cover and it will charge. I'm not sure if you understand what I mean, it's kinda hard for me to explain. But hope this helps.

Looks like a standard metal Joye PCC. Is there just one battery hole - the charging hole? I think you have to screw in the battery. When you screw it in it doesn't fit?

Yes, there's just one battery hole with a cutout for the button to slide in and a spring in the bottom. Pandatera described it well above. Since it has that slot for the button, there's no way to rotate it. I know I'm pushing it in far enough for the charger to make contact since the LED lights up on the case.

The only problem is that I can't close the lid because the battery is a bit too long.

My genuine Joye 510 manual battery is 63.5 mm long. The PCC I have measures 105mm tall, 40mm wide and 18mm deep. On the Joy PC, you don't screw the manual batteries in, it's spring loaded - you have to close the case to push and hold them into the charger. Sounds like you might have gotten a "mega" 510 battery. The 510 PCC has a slot for a charging battery, 2 holes for cartridges and 1 for an atomizer.

Maybe someone else with a 510 can confirm the length for us?
Hope this helps,
cleo

Ps. Joye 510 Battery Replacement has reg 510 batteries on sale for $8.99 as well as some drip tips for $1.99 Shipping is cheap too . First class or priority mail.

My genuine Joye 510 manual battery is 63.5 mm long.

Interesting. I measured my batteries at 71mm long. I just found this thread which specifies the following:

Joye 510 batteries (180mah) are 65.2mm in length and 9.2mm in diameter.

Joye 510 manual mega batteries (280mah) are 85mm in length and 9.2mm in diameter.

Joye ego batteries (650mah) are 71mm in length and 14mm in diameter.

So, for some reason my batteries are as long as the ego batteries, but shorter than the mega batteries. I also realized from the packaging that it's labeled as FS510 and isn't a genuine Joye 510 (I didn't even know there were knock-offs before I bought them.

Can you still return them since it doesn't fit. There return and shipping policy says can only return unused item within 15 days. But since it definelty sounds like there fault maybe email them and see if you can get a refund for the starter kit and the pcc and just order it from somewhere else. Or at least the starter kit since it's not geniune and it won't work with the JOYE 510 pcc.

Good luck
