I press the button before bringing it to my lips, so its already a bit warm...giving me a nice hit from the start. And of course, I continue holding the button until my lungs are nice and full of that yummy vapor x3

Oh, and no...you don't have to get anything new other than the battery itself! Everything from your automatic kit will work with the manual batteries.
