So tomorrow I'll be getting my first PV a 1300mah Spinner VV. I'm curious though on whether I should charge it first thing out of the box. I've seen some people say to go ahead and use it till its dead then charge it. I've seen others say charge it fully out of the box. So I'm not sure which would be the better option. Any suggestions?

Most batteries come with a partial charge, about 50-70%.

No harm in vaping it right away, but get it on a charge as soon as you can.

+1. The batteries in that spinner don't have a memory like the old rechargeables, so you're not going to hurt it by vaping on it out of the box.

Unlike batteries in a mech mod, eGo-style batteries will tell you when they need to be recharged -- you'll get a blinking light, and they'll no longer fire.

Good luck with your Spinner; the friend who turned me on to vaping still uses one of those for her ADV battery (though I have convinced her to upgrade to a better clearomizer than the one she was using before ). Welcome to the forum btw.

Thanks for all the responses!! As far a clearo goes , I went with the vivi nova 3.5ml. I'm gonna be using some VG based liquids and out of other clearo tanks around the same price I heard the vivi nova handled them best.

I have a few ViviNovas in my arsenal, it's a good piece of gear as pre-builts go. Just bear in mind that some e-liquids can cloud or crack plastic tanks.

Well I ordered Strawberry 100% VG , Butterscoth 60/40 PG/VG , and Mint Chocolate Chip 85/15 PG/VG. I'm trying to figure out a ratio and flavor I like. Do you think any of those might crack or cloud a vivi nova?

What Baditude said. And some juice vendors maintain lists of their e-liquids that are known to cause issues with plastic tanks.
