You should check out xtar's site. They apparently have a deal with sony to make the xtvct4 which i believe uses the same cells as the vct4. Its hard to find real sony batteries these days. I have two coming in the mail right now and i will let you know how they perform when i recieve them.

At 6 watts, you should be fine with Samsung 25R's. Those are good cells.

Not really check liionwholesale.com or recycablepower they both have authentic sony vtc4's and vtc5's the factory in malayasai is churning them out pretty steadily now. demand is high so the price kinda reflects that. will go down some eventually.
