Battery Advice

Hi, I have a kamry epip k1000. I call it my fancy ecig. But my question is whats the best battery brand for my piece? I believe its a 18350, and flat top or button top? I also have a Aspire nautilus tank for it, you think thats the right tank for this piece?

I have never used an 18350 battery, so don't know much about them @Mooch is the resident battery expert though. Maybe he can help you. @suprtrkr uses some shorty mods too, so he will likely have an opinion.

It can use either, flat or button top battery.
The AW 18350 800mah 12a CDR is the only 18350 I'd use in a mechanical.
Most of the 'kits' come with the adapter that allows use of 510 delivery device so the nautilus should work.
Battery life between charge cycles will be short.

The best ones currently available, AFAIK, are the AW 800 mAh button tops. They're rated 12 amps. You can build down to .6 or so on them without unduly stressing them. I use the Efest purples after that, despite the fact I don't trust them. I won't go below .8 on those. Battery life is short, you'll need spares.

I also recommend the AW 18350 IMR 800 mah batteries. However, I wouldn't build lower than 0.8 ohm with them. If you are going to sub-ohm, use only an 18650 battery. (Battery life will suck with an 18350 with sub-ohm.)

I have a couple of the efest red wrap batteries but I never use them below 1 ohm, I never really looked into them much as I rarely use them. I did order a kick 2 to run a nautilus mini on a mech for the lazy vape in bed thing.
