Just got a wood Kamry k1000 epipe. It's great and works beautifully. I am looking to get some replacement 18350 batteries. dx.com has a good deal on SureFire 18350 1200mah 3.7 volt batteries but is says they have "no protector board". I don't know what this means or whether the kamry batteries that came with the epipe have a protector board. Just want to be sure that this is not an issue before ordering. Anyone know what a battery protector board is and whether it is necessary?

Hello all :)

I just ordered a k1000 from canvape.com and grabbed a "Trust Fire 18350 protected 3.7V 1200mAh rechargeable Lithium Ion battery with PCB"

Just joined this forum and found this post and wondering if this battery should be okay? In the description for the Kamry k1000 kit it says the batteries are not protected and they suggest getting a brand they themselves don't carry but I saw they had this "trust fire "protected" 18350.. Any help apriceated... I will "trust" these batteries won't create any "fire" if I get no replies...

Edit:! Apparently I'm slow and didn't do a proper search on the canvape Site.. They do have the proper batteries they just didn't show up when I searched 18350 :/ going to grab a vpipe2 next pay so ill snag a few batteries while I'm at it :D
