Well first of thanks for all great threads providing all this great information to pick up.

I own a nemesis, kfl+ and a zenith v2 and I have been holding back awhile to read up on the batteries since there is allot to learn before I make a choice.

The issue I am having sometimes as a new vaper when reading and trying to learn about batteries is relating to how up to date the information is, when looking at what the market offers today - this since new batteries are released and are improved new information is coming out. This is good but also sometimes confussing for me when deciding what to choose since I want to be safe and dont mind spending some extra for a good battery.

So my question;

Out of battery safety from what I read at the moment it seems that you can not go to high on the amps. Which as a new vapour who in the beginning is mainly going for builds <1 makes me think about getting some good high amp batteries example Sony vtc4/5, which i hear allot of praise about. After I have been exploring the world of vaping I then have the possibility to venture in the sub-ohm world if I want to try it out and still be safe.

I have no problem with getting IMR AW batteries that are 10 amp limit for those builds < 1 ohms and using the sony vtc4/5 30 amp for the sub-ohming. But looking at what the market offers I see the opportunity to use 1 kind of good batteries for all day different builds and thats why I am asking.

Also - will my kick 2 from evolve which I am planning to use to get make my mech regulated with builds <1 ohm be negatively affected using high amp Sony vtc4/5 batteries.

(I do apologize since my english isnt my native language)

Love this forum!

Kind regards,

Lollo

Start with the best batteries you can get and you won't have to upgrade them or possibly mix them up if you start sub ohming. The kick will work fine with a high amp battery. A high amp battery doesn't put out more current then it is asked for but when asked it makes it much safer. A whole lot safer. BTW you'd probably have to pull the kick out to do sub ohm anyways, I'm not sure but I think it limits to 1.3 ohms. I wait now to be corrected. :)

Kick2 can go down to .5.... But the kick is 1.3

I agree Sony VTC 4-5 you wont have an issue I have a purple Efest IMR 2500mAh 35A battery that's also a good one. I have run that battery on some really low builds and its held up extremely well.

I have the efest 2500 35A as well and have zero issues. Sony and AW are just always the safe recommendation that nobody will argue with.
