Battery Alternative for E-Power 14650???

I found this 4.8v nimh battery, which is apparently a 14650 size. I was wondering if this would work close to that voltage with my E-power, or would the switch circuit keep it the same as my 3.6v?

I'm pretty new to electronics in general, and I have no idea about this.

This battery will not work properly - too low allowable current.
