are there any other sites besides mad vapes with a large selection of boxes, preferably with a bigger assortment of shapes, sizes and colors? or tubes/containers of some sort?

Hammond makes great enclosures...but be aware the translucent blue's are much more brittle and the gray (actually off white) are much softer than the standard black. That's across the board; all sizes, so it has to be something in the mix when they produce them.
yea all the translucent boxes are Polystyrene or acrylic. (brittle) the black ones are ABS, and the white ones are PET (hard stuff)
Am I the only one that can't find crap at Digikey? I have problems searching for stuff to the point where I just give up and hope someone posts a link to the product. To me, their search system is complete garbage. I'm probably doing something wrong......

Since they have close to a half million items, searching is a challenge. I'd bet dollars to donuts your problem is in the selected filters. Try using less....which returns a lot more matches....which requires sifting through pages of listings. It's not quick, but it works.
Here's one Mamu used recently: BOX ABS FR BLUE 3.9X2.0X0.8" - 1591ABU
To look around to see other options you can search boxes, choose the big list and then apply 'hammond' filter and have at it.

Yeah, that's probably my issue. I guess I'll just have to search with less filters and do more looking.
On another note, I just remembered I have access to a 3D printer and have cartridges of ABS. I'm serious, I really forgot about it, I was trying to design a switch holder for the inside of the tube on my mod and was getting frustrated. I then smacked myself in the head for being so stupid. I can make battery boxes too!

That's the latest craze....and from what I've seen it works. You might want to do some beta testing on some designs, and if you get all the kinks worked out, offer the service. The key will be the beta; a lot of testing so people know what to expect and what not to expect.
That is a REALLY good box; strong, well made, and the walls are perpendicular ....a rarity in the box world. I used it to build The Blue Bomb
PACTEC has a good selection - I've ordered from them a couple of times - not so much the standard boxes - search under the Hand Held section. Box Enclosures is another, but haven't ordered from them.
Oooow - The Pac-Tec PP Series and the Battery Enclosures 40 Series look tempting!

No! I go through the same 5H17 as you do searching for stuff on Digi-Key's web site.
