Does a battery rated at twice the mAh of another battery last twice as long between charges, or is it more complicated than that?

TIA
Tom

Hi Tom,

Generally speaking you can figure 1 hr average vape time for each 100 mah a battery is rated for. I have 1000mAh twist. It lasts me about 10 hrs between charges.

What is mAh?
mAh (milli-ampere hour) is a capacity rating that measures how much current a battery will discharge over a specified period of time (typically a one hour period). Higher mAh ratings do not necessarily reflect how fast current can be drawn, rather, how long a current can be drawn. For example a 2000 mAh battery will sustain a 2000 milli-Amp (2 ampere) draw for approximately one hour before dropping to a voltage level that is considered discharged. A 1700 mAh battery will sustain a 1700 milli-Amp (1.7 ampere) draw for approximately one hour. Overall capacity will be influenced by other factors including temperature, depth of discharge and speed of discharge.

I have both 650mAh and 1100mAh ego's, normally use a LR VN on them, the 650 will last me about 4hrs max and the 1100 between 6-8hrs, it really depends on how much I vape. I found I needed 3 of each and soon got tired of the constant charging. Always carried a spare in my bag.
If you like the ego style but want more power you could have look at the joye ego 18650 mod as a starter comes with a 2200mAH Protected battery that you can also charge directly through the device if need be.
