510 Battery

I seem to have come full circle with ecigs & mods back to my 510.

The mods i have tried all seem to burn through the juice too quick & you dont seem to get the full flavor of the liquid.

I like the taste & vapor of my 510 but the batteries don't last long, I see there is a mega 9cm battery for the 510 rated at 280mah that is advertised to last twice as long which is great if the voltage is the same as the std battery

I am not an electrician & i cannot find an mah rating for the std 510 batteries.

Any advice appreciated

hi, solutionc. you'll find some info/feedback on the titan/510 mega batteries in previous threads. I don't think voltage is an issue. 510 attys are fine with either standard or mega batteries. Personally, I think they're great. They increase the size and weight of the 510. But if short battery life is driving you --um--batty, then this is a possible solution. They do last longer--though I'm not sure it's "twice as long." TW still has their sale on, so you can get them at a good price right now. I'd say go for the manual version so you can drip on the atty without worrying about leakage into the battery.

Another thing you could do is get an adapter and use an 801 battery with a 510 atty.

Why is the 801 Battery better?

I have been off the analogs for 3 months now & to start with felt i needed more hit so went the way of "more power"

Maybe its just i don't need such a hit anymore or just my taste buds are starting to work again after 30 years but i find the 510 gives about the right hit & you can taste the mellow flavors better at the lower voltage. I just want the battery to last longer maybe someone can recommend a mod that has the same voltage with a longer lasting battery?

I already have a pcc but when i am smoking heavily the battery runs out before the new one is charged :( I think the mega battery will fix that problem but the megas don't appear to have pcc's yet

I ordered my initial kit from Totally Wicked w/ the Megas.
Longer in length, and they don't fit into my front pocket real well when I'm mobile, but the battery life on a couple lasts me all night, while I'm out.

Hmmm... interesting. I use the Mega and a pocket clip.. and felt that the increased length of the Mega made it fit better in my shirt pocket than the standard shorty.

To each his own I reckon!

I'm not saying an 801 battery is better than a mega 510 battery. I don't have a mega 510 one so I don't know how long it lasts but the 801 on a 510 atty lasts twice as long as a standard 510 battery. I just happened to have an adapter and some 801 batteries so if I use my 510 atty (which is rare) I put the 801 battery on it.
