Battery charge

I have three batteries for my KR808D-1 and use them in rotation whenever the one I'm using needs to be recharged. One usually lasts me the better part of a day. If one is fully charged, just sitting on my desk, how long will it hold the charge?
Oh, they are Rechargeable KR808D1 batteries - 84mm Long / 280mAh.

They should hold their charge a very long time. Certainly days, weeks, or even months. It would interesting to do a test. Just take one of your three batteries, fully charged and set it aside. Every few days - screw it in to the charger for a second and see if it goes into charging mode. I think I'll try that myself.

do you think it matters wether or not it an auto or manuel?

I wouldn't think that would make a difference.
