Which Nitecore model or any battery charger model would you recommend for charging IMR 18350, 18490, and 18690 batteries? I want one with independent charging indicators, at least 2 battery charging slots, and shuts-off or goes into trickle charge when battery reaches full charge. I currently have a cheap single slot, generic charger that I bought from fasttech, which actually works pretty good for the time being. After reading so much horrible scenarios with using cheap chargers, I want to upgrade to something more reliable.

Here is one I like. Quick charge time, has 2 independent bays, meaning you can charge 2 diff type of batteries at the same time and is priced inexpensive.

AltSmoke.com - XTAR WP2 II Charger

:)

ps. You don't have to buy from altsmoke, lots of vendor have this charger, some may have it cheaper. Dunno, this was just a fast search of a product I like.

Anything by Pila or xtar. Anything but Nitecore or (blank)Fire.

You can get an Xtar WPII 2 for twenty bucks at RTD Vapor and all Xtar's are backed with a 2 year warranty. You can get a Nitecore for 14 bucks that might not work out of the box, might overheat, might melt down or might fail. Then people chuck 'em out and go buy another one. It makes no sense.

If you want to charge 18350's in a WPII 2 you will need to buy two extra spacers. It comes with two but you will need two more for that size battery. Last time I looked at RTD Vapor two additional spacers will set you back a total of 90 cents.

ETA: You meant 18650 not 18690, right?

Yeah, I meant to say 18650 and not 18690.

This one is a little pricier, but I have it and it works great: Efest LUC Charger

Wow!!! That's a bad ... charger!! I love the fact that it has so many features and the LCD display shows exactly where the battery is at during charging state. You're right, it is somewhat expensive compared to the other chargers out there. Thanks for the info.

I got this charger from Provape. Has automatic shutoff and has performed beautifully for 9 months with no issues.

I might get this one because it has everything that I mentioned. The Efest LUC charger is what's catching my eye at the moment, but the price is $15 more than the battery charger that you suggested.

Get the one that you will be happier with. If you get one soley based on price and find you don't like it, or it doesn't perform the way you want, it might just end up sitting in a drawer un-used.

It is pretty nice. I really like when an electrical device tells me everything I want to know when it's doing its job.

You can find it from other vendors at a lower price, I've seen it for $27 or $28 before.
