What specific charger is that? (what are the settings?)

Li-Ion (and IMR) batteries are considered 3.7 volt batteries but they charge to 4.1/4.2 volts at full charge. IDK what the settings mean...type of battery or max charge? Specify the model # please.

Maybe someone else has one and knows. My TR-001 has no switch.

Also, if you're using 18650's, don't you need IMR batteries (are they?).

Trustfire TR-001
input1:100-240v~50-60Hz
Input2:12V 500mA
Output:4.2v 500Ma

The charger has two settings, 3.0V and 3.6V

The batteries are red (look generic) and say + IMR 18650 2000mAH 3.7V

sorry, I just have no idea about this stuff.. I know how to set up t
he vamo, just not sure how to charge these batteries right

Hello..I have the same charger. The switch should be at 3.6

Be ready to wait. It will take a while to fully charge a 2000mAH battery. I suggest doing one at a time to speed it up a bit. You really should look into getting a Nitecore Intellicharge i4 charger.

I like gentle slow chargers as a general rule. Slower = less heat = battery less stressed. However, IMR can take more amps so meh. It's OK. I think you can charge both, since the channels are independent. I think it has the amps for it but IDK for sure. Now zx has me wondering.

I just keep several charged and rotate through them.

It's a good idea to get a multimeter too. You will want to be able to check battery voltage if your PV doesn't do that. (The Vamo probably will tell you.) Don't over-drain the battery (3.3 volts = lowest commonly suggested that you'd want to go...although you can go lower theoretically...why would you?)
