I have now gotten a janty eGo, which came shipped with a USB charger unit. Now, the instructions state the light on the charger should be red, then turn green once charging is through. Mine seems to be green only, though.

Do you know if this is normal? Also, how long should it take to fully charge an eGo battery?

Yours sincerely,

Lin

Is the battery dead or already charged? Have you tried it out yet? If its charging, no worries... forget the light. Should last more than a couple of hours on a full charge.
Atomizers can be hit or miss sometimes-- most of my atties have lasted months & I've had a few that lasted minutes.

If you plug the battery charger into the wall, the light should turn green, then screw the battery onto the charger until the blue light (on a manual battery) flashes a few times and the light on the charger changes to red. If the light on the charger stays green, the battery may already be fully charged.

Does the battery work? It may be fully charged.

Some atomizers can last for months, some will only last a week or so. You should have spare atomizers and batteries because they will need to be replaced eventually.

The battery can be charged in about two hours (the light will turn green) However, it is recommended that you charge it for 6 to 8 hours (after the light turns green) the first time it's charged. This may lengthen the life of the battery.

With my eGo, if the light on the charger is green with the battery attached, your good to go.
When the battery needs recharged, the light on the battery button flashes several times, then will not light again. When inserting a dead battery into the charger, the charger light will be red, the eGo button light will flash several times. When the batter is charged up again (2 or so hours), the led on the charger will be green.

Although this was true during the era of NiMH batteries it is not required any longer. Lithium batteries are either charged or need charging... There is no in-between such as them needing a conditioning charge or top-off.

When the light on the charger turns green, or is green when the battery is connected, it's ready for use.
