Battery end caps (LED Lampshades)

I didn't get any end caps on my batteries when I ordered them. Also, I am not satisfied with using a rubber cap from the carts, because my reason for using end caps is more to hide the led for stealth vaping.

A great fix for this was rubberized screw end caps, found at any Lowes, Home Depot, etc, in the screw section (ask if you can't find 'em!). They cost about 78 cents for three, and a 3/8 inch cap fits the 510, at least, perfectly. In the pic below, I set a cartridge cap next to one also to compare. They fit MUCH better, without stretching out the cap at all. It's also a solid seal against liquid leakage - I've even replaced some cartridge caps with these, as they fit cartridges even better than the original caps!

The only downside is I've only found that size in dark green, but perhaps a Sharpie marker can fix that easily enough to blacken it up.
