I just ordered a Nemesis clone, and I need some batteries to make the sucker work. I want 18650s, but cant decide what to go for... I know everyone raves about the AW IMRs, but I'm also looking at the Efest 18650.

I am going to be using an IGOW-3 with four 26g or 28g coils (haven't decided what size, my buddy used 26g in his set up).

Amazon.com: (2 Pieces) IMR 18650 2000mah 3.7v High Drain Li-mn Rechargeable Battery with Button Top: Cell Phones & Accessories

would this be a good choice? and should I go for button top or flat top? not sure of advantages or disadvantages of each...

Get flat tops for the nemmy and you're probably gonna need something that can handle i higher drain than 10amps. Make sure to get an ohm meter of some sort so you know the resistances of your builds.

So probably some Sony VTC 4/5's @30amp etc, or newer efests high drain 35amp ones to give yourself plenty of headroom.

If you're going to be running multiple coils like that I suggest one of these:
Sony VTC5
Sony VTC4
AW IMR 1600mah
Efest IMR 18650 1600mAh Button Top

Note: The 2000mah Efest you mentioned is a 10amp battery, while the cells listed above should be good for 20Amps or more.

If you're going to be packing 4 coils into an RBA, it's highly likely you could be pulling lots of current (amps), so the C rating of your battery selection will be more important than the Mah rating.

The Sony is a great cell that gives both a high C rating and a good Mah rating. The only catch I can think of with the Sony in a Nemisis is that it has no button top. I use them all the time in my Nemisis without issue, but I do have to pay attention to how I adjust the contact in the button assembly.

I got a Nemesis clone as well, and went with vtc4s. They were pretty cheap in a two pack with a plastic case. 16 bucks for all, MadVapes I believe. I like knowing I am way under limit, I use the vape calculator alot, just to check and be sure. I also have an ohm meter, and multimeter to check voltage on my batts. I highly suggest these, its very nice knowing where I am with all the levels. Oh and I have no problem with battery rattle or the vtc4s not fitting. Both ends of your clone should adjust, so you'll have to adjust to you atty, its self explanatory once its all in your hands.
