Like Della Cirque said I only use the IMR 14500s for my mini. I have the same charger as you and I use 3.7 and charge it at 300Ma. They always seem to carry the perfect voltage after I take them off the charger. I was recommend RTDvapor to buy my batteries from and I couldn't be happier because Randy provides great customer service.

A lot of good info here and agree about the atties and that the batts should be charged at the 300 mah setting. Also, Ohm's Law can't be avoided in any situation. If you were to use a 1.5 ohm atty at 6V then it will produce a whopping 24 watts of power. Which will blow your head off and pop the coil at the same time LMAO!

It REALLY comes in handy. Anyways, I would highly suggest that you get some Cisco HR 306's. They work great at 6V:
