Battery help

okay so i just started sub ohming and my issue is i am currently waiting for new batteries in the mail but the batteries i currently own are AW IMR 18650 3.7V 2200mah(7.4WH) If someone could please help me understand how many amps my battery can handle so that i can build accordingly i would much appreciate it

The new AW IMR 18650 3.7V 2200mah battery is rated at 20A CDR (continuous discharge rate).

the battery does not say any more information that i think will be helpful.

i need to know how many amps my battery can stand so i can build accordingly

If it is the new aw 2200, it is a 20 amp max continuous load.

I hope one of these solves the problem. The amp limit of the batt is kinda important. They should have to put that info on the labels.

Who did you purchase your batteries from? There are counterfeit batteries out there -- especially on ebay and Amazon.

the batteries came including when i bought a kit at my local vape shop

AW just came out with the 2200mah battery. In addition, since 12/2013, AW batteries have a silver "hologram" AW sticker.

Looks like a flat top to me, AW does not offer flat tops,,, flat top AW = fake / counterfeit unknown cell of unknown quality.
