Battery hot when charging.

I got a Riva 1100 mah battery a week or so ago, and noticed last night that it got rather warm while charging (in wall charger). Also, it seemed to keep its heat, as if it were generated inside rather that simply surface heat - the kind you get from a hot atty, for example I used it for maybe ten minutes last night, then this morning it was flat. It will still charge (well, I'm charging it now - though keeping a watchful eye on it).

I'm guessing it's faulty, isn't it.

does your light stay on? When you put an Atty on it foes it continuously fire. Sounds like a bad battery to me if it does flat overnight after using it only ten minutes
