So I have a mod, a reo mini, it uses 18500 batteries.
One of my 18500 batteries is acting very strangely.
I have two different chargers that will charge an 18500 battery.
When this particular battery begins to lose vapor, it does not change the charge light red.
On either charger. And this has happened multiple times.
But even so, if I put it on the charger, it charges up to 4 volts just fine.
But when I check its voltage when its getting weak, the voltage will not even show.
It doesnt even check its voltage once the 1st signs of less vapor appear.

I have seen and read what batteries can do. Do you all suggest I throw it away?

If the battery first tests a normal voltage and then is dropping way low like that it sounds like protection has tripped in the battery.

Any time a battery is exhibiting non normal behavior it's time to toss. And in this case toss both of them. You don't want to be trying to mix & match up the remaining "good" battery with something else at a later date - just not a good idea. For what these things cost, trying to "force" a flaky battery to behave normally is just not worth it.
