Got my eRoll on Monday and the battery has just died on me. When I put it in the PCC the blue light on the outside doesn't light up. When I try to take a drag the blue tip just blinks.

I'm pretty sure that it's the battery, as I changed the atomizer but it still didn't work. I just opened the second battery that came with the kit and I'm now getting vapour.

I have a feeling that it was my fault and not the company's. It's really hard to see when the cartridges are filled, so I was quite forceful when adding juice. I'm guessing that the catridge leaked into the battery.

Anyone have any tips to avoid this happening again?

Is there a way to try and save the battery?

I kinda want a Smokestik now, as all I would have to do is change the cartomizer.

The battery should be under warranty if you only got it a few days ago. I had to replace one of mine after about 2 weeks because it whistled when I inhaled. BF had a nice little joke to go along with that, but I digress.

It's unlikely the battery got flooded--if you've fiddled with the position of the battery inside the slot (sometimes mine can be finicky) and it just won't charge, just get a replacement.

You can also pop into the eRoll forum and post your Q there--someone might have an idea on how to help.

I'm starting to think that it may be the PCC. I've been chain vaping so I can test the PCC. When I insert the e cig into the PCC the blue light comes on for 2-3 seconds and then disappears. I don't understand how this would be the case though. I haven't done anything that would damage the PCC. Maybe I just got a faulty one. Although it worked fine for the past few days.

I guess that I'm going to have to contact Joyetech. Looks as if I'm going to be back on the analogs for a few days :( Cheers, Joyetech. I'm not sure how their warranty works but I hope that I can return the starter kit for a full refund and not just get a replacement for the PCC. Haven't been too impressed with Joyetech. Think I'm going to go for the Smokestik. Meant to be the best mini on the market.

I don't understand your refilling comment.

Refilling the cart with it off the battery, yes? Give it a few minutes. Wipe the connector.

Also...
1) Wipe the connectors on both battery and carto
2) Make sure the center posts on the connectors are pulled up enough to make contact

If you have the cash...get a disposable or two for a couple of days. Backups, backups, backups!!!!

I have a friend who had same problem,its a faulty PCC,return it.

Yep, I can now confirm that it's defnitely a faulty PCC. I vaped until the blue tip started blinking, inserted the e cig into the PCC and the blue LED switched off after 2-3 seconds. As I said, I just hope that they issue a full refund and not a replacement.

^^^ That's a pretty standard warranty agreement. Replacement, not refund. I don't really understand pitching a hissy over something like a faulty part, but I guess to each his/her own.

I would like a refund because I'm a very light user (isn't as if I've been abusing the product), will have no choice but to wait a few days until the replacement comes in, meaning that I'll be going back to the analogs (we're not spoilt for choice with B&M e-cig shops in England), and while I understand that electrical parts can go wrong, Joyetech hasn't exactly made the best of impressions on me, espcially as it's been 3-4 days of very light use. I get where you're coming from, but as you said, to each his/her own.

Sorry to hear you're not happy with it--if you didn't intend to use it much anyway I can understand you might want your money back instead.

Is the PCC turned on to charge mode? I had one once I didn't you have to turn it on to charge a batt. Not sure if yours is like that or not. bnrk

The PCC is definitely charged and I'm sure that the LED light is meant to light up when the battery is charging. When the battery is inserted it simply doesn't light up, indicating that it's fully charged. But of course this isn't the case.
