Battery LED color

I started my collection with 2 shorties, both of which have green LEDs. Have since added 2 single-logo manuals and 1 no-logo auto. When ordering these, I asked if I could get blue or green LEDs, but all came with orange.

So are these batts only available in orange, or did I just happen to order when no blues or greens were in stock? I'd really like blue or green LEDs to make it really obvious to folks on the street that I'm NOT smoking -- plus I just think it looks cool.

BTW if anyone's looking to swap an equivalent blue or green LED batt for an orange, let me know!

It's a crapshoot. It all depends what the manufacturer sent them lately and what they lay their hands on in the box they're stuffing your envelope from...

You can request an LED color or two and they'll sometimes try if they're not to busy to see what they have (saying "NOT orange or red" is easier to fill, I suspect, in the order comments)

I'm always happy to see people asking for non-orange colors, as those are the only ones I feel comfortable vaping in public I would exchange with you, but my newest batteries are a month and half old, and have had heavy use... so I feel like you'd be getting the raw end of the deal. I hope you have better luck on your next order!

I'm the same way with orange LEDs. I switched to white shorties and orange LED to blend in better. This after having read two cases of people getting stopped by police on suspicion of using an illegal "oil". White shorties, white cartos with orange LED is as close you can get to looking like the real deal....and I would rather not have to explain to a flatfoot.

The last order I requested white shorties with orange LEDs and got em. I plan to do the same again this week and hope I can still get orange.

Good point man. Not that I'm all that worried about it...but it's just not worth the hassle. Hadn't really thought about it that way.
Innocent until proven guilty, but that doesn't mean a close minded, uninformed, over zealous, officer can't lock up you up on suspicion.
