I was wondering what the length should be of the 18350 batteries for a mini lavatube? The batteries which came with the device aren't the best, and I know that people have been running into problems due to certain batteries being too long? The ones Im looking into are from madvapes and are 37mm long.

About 35mm..might be 35.5 or something though..I believe a lot of the 18650 are 65.5mm so I figure the 18350's are a little bigger than 35mm. They probably would work but the cap might not screw all the way on plus you're talking about protected batteries that are not high drain.

Also the protection circuit could trip on these devices..if it did trip nothing would happen except it would turn off and you would have to take the battery out then put it back in to reset it.

I hear some people have issues with protected batteries some don't. I guess it depends on how hard you push the amps in your device..if you used lower ohm or dual coil atomizers or crank up the volts over 5v you might hit the protection limit.

The Length is correct but doesn't thim mean they are Un-Protected...

"This cell does NOT have an integrated PCB. Please be sure you fully understand how this product functions, how it should be charged and discharged and the proper handling of this battery type before attempting to use this battery."

I would suggest you use AW IMR 18350 Batteries for this type of VVPV.

This. IMR batteries have a higher c rating, so they are able to handle a higher amount of amps, such as the lavatube demands being a boost variable voltage device. Stick with IMRs.

Yeah I understand that I was just saying one that is protected is safe because with the circuit it will turn off the battery before it hits the batteries amp limit.

I don't see the C rating and I believe the LT should use a battery with a 10c rating or above. You probably would be batter off with what zoiDman posted.

I just wish more battery retailers would list more of the specs..like the battery he posts above it doesn't show the C rating nor the max amp discharge rate..IDK if I would buy AW's though as I have read mixed things but they would be better than the batteries above your post. If I was buying batteries I probably would buy Sanyo or Panasonic high drains.

But it's harder to get those as they generally are sold to businesses for use in packs or devices that have protection circuits..I know I searched for Sanyo's outside of the unmarked e cig ones and had a hard time finding them retail. I'm not in the market for any right now as the batteries that came with my LT work great and after a month they show no signs of any issues..of course they probably won't for 300 charges at least...
