Help - Right Battery for LavaTube Mini (18350) ?

Hi there, I have a LavaTube Mini which uses 18350 batteries.

My knowledge of 18350 batteries is minimal.

I wish to buy 1 or 2 more, but do not know which.

Safety is much more important to me than the batteries' cost.


Would AW IMR 18350 700mah be a proper choice?

Would appreciate any input , thank you.

I'd choose AW IMR's over any other battery out there given a choice. I've got some in 14500 and 18650 size and find they perform better than any other batteries I've tried. They're also a safer chemistry than li-ion batt's.

Yes, the regulator circuit works better with the high drain batteries like the IMR's

AW IMR are considered safe because the are made from "Safe Chemistery".

ie: The Materirals that make up the Battery do not want to Explode in the event of a Major Failure.

AW IMR have a Lower Internal Resistance so they work more Efficiently in a VVPV when the Battery to Output Voltage Differential is High. Or at least that is what I am told.

They also fit Perfectly in a Mini-Lavatube. I know because I have one and a couple of other types of 18350 Batteries.

So yes, an AW IMR 18350 would be a Good Choice for the Mini-Lavatube.

Thanks so much for confirming my battery selection. Seems the issue now is finding a USA vendor with stock on the AW 18350 IMR

A vendor that is who I can trust to sell "real" AW for I am aware there are many fakes out there and often the small vendor is not even aware of this themself.
