Battery life on dual coil IGO-L sucks....... ???

Hi everyone, I've been following the forums for a few weeks since I started vaping, and I decided to finally become a (hopefully) contributing member. So hello!

I hope to learn a lot, but my first question was... I'm running an IGO-L on my KTS Storm (GG Clone mod) and I just put in double coils... and my battery now dies in about six hours from before, when I was running only one coil it would last two days. Is there any way to get more battery life out of a double coil setup?

I'm asking because I'm planning on getting a nimbus and running four coils (for maximum vapor production) and if this trend continues my battery will only last like 30 minutes....

I've been running a .8 ohm dual coil on my titan with an 18650. Seems to last me a while. What ohm is your coil?

Well ya, two coils uses more amps. Everything in ohms law is a trade off, that's just the way it works.

Mine's .8 ohm as well, hmmm... What kind of batteries are you using?

All I can tell you is it's a Samsung battery that came with my evic. I also use 30 gauge wire with three wraps. Hope that helps somewhat.

All I have to say is that if you don't knOw what ohms you are using your need to stop what your doing and so more research

I believe evic would be an 18650, which is allot of stored power if something goes wrong. You can check the ohm on your evic. You should always check your coil after making one especially when your first getting in rebuildables.

It may be the battery. If possible, try to borrow a battery from a buddy, made by a different manufacturer. I noticed decreased battery life when I rebuilt my EGO-L with a dual coil setup, but not at the ratio you experienced. On a 18650 efest, I went from 14 to 8 hours, once I went from single (0.8 ohms) to dual coil (0.8 ohms).

If you want batteries to last longer, triple the wraps on your coils.............and watch performance fall like a rock to earth.

If you want big bad Plums Purchase the best batteries you can get<MNKE?> and plenty of them. Don't forget a really good charger.

Honestly - 30 minutes is about all you will be able to handle Steam engine performance anyway.

What size battery are you using? 18350? 18650?

I use a dual coil nimbus and I run a dual coil and I get a couple of hours out of my 18350.

I go thru a few 18350 most days on a single coil at a higher resistance. The battery still has decent life left in it but my mech is currently kicked so it tells me to change the battery pretty early.

I'm glad I'm only using a 2.0 ohm single coil with my AGA-T2. Even with that, I've noticed increased battery drain on my 18650 Aw IMRs. I get enough vapor for my needs with this setup, I don't need a freaking freight train of vapor for a satisfying vape.

A couple hours of vaping for me is usually at a whole day, if not 2, depending on how much I have time to vape. I always carry 3 18350 batteries on me, 1 in the mech, and 2 in a battery case. I do have a 18650 that came with my eVic, but I keep it in there as a backup.

I just have 3 18350, an 18500 and a 18650. My igol is single coil 2.2ohm kicked at 9w and gives enough vapor. I don't need lots of vapor but is fun to see how much you can get some days XD

I still need to get around to trying out my agat2, took it out of the box a couple times and took it apart once. Just a little intimidated looking at a sheet of mesh and from reading others posting difficulties. Besides that haven't found a good time I could sit down for awhile to try since I got it Saturday.
