Got my Joye 500 about one month ago. Have totally dropped my two pack a day habit of over 35 years so am one happy camper but......
when I recharge a few of my batteries, I am only getting about a half hour out of them then flashing light and nothing. This has happened with 4 batteries from Cignot. Just placed another order but am sure this is not right. Any suggestions?

Is that a 510?
Those little chinese standard batts are a little iffy. I have gotten batches of 901 batteries that act like that. I don't even use those things any more. I only use mods that take AA size lith. rechargeables. Can't be bothered with worrying about wether my battery's gonna work or for how long.

It could be a faulty charger too ya know - in that its not actually charging your batteries properly. The batteries are one reason many people add a battery mod (like hte ego, bartleby, chuck, provape, silver bullet etc etc) to their 510 atty or like me, use a PT all the time.

i totally agree with this.... i got mine from cignot as well.. the standard wall charger that i got i had to play with it a bit or the light would stay green even while dead until i twisted it a hair loose and then back tight again.. but i can say that their 10 battery charger works flawlessly..

Also something else that tends to happen a bit.. if you screw your atty on too tight it damages the end points of the battery so it doesn't connect properly to the charger, you should only barely screw the atty snugly(not tight).. start giving this a try with a new set of batteries... alot of people make this mistake.

I also have bought a couple of Joye510 starter packs from cignot. My batts seem to last about an hour, less if i'm just sitting there chain vaping. So, sure, I could see that some users' batts last only a half hour.

I bought a passthru from cignot, and it was almost DOA -- only worked four days. eMailed Vicky, and she immediately shipped one out. When I got it, she included a postage-paid return envelope for the bad unit. They do stand behind their product and keep their customers happy.

So you've asked for suggestions -- buy a passthru. They are wonderful, and they give off more vapor than the reg. batts. Also, you can chain vape on those.

Could also get the mega batteries they carry. I haven't tried them, but the write-up says they last 70% longer.

Something I forgot to mention. In the little users manual that comes w/the cignot set, read that. And do exactly as it says to do. The instructions say that your first charge on each battery should be for 8 hours even when the green light comes on. Then it says to use it for 20 minutes and then charge again for one full hour. If you don't follow those directions exactly, things might work out the way you want them too. Most people don't even read the booklet. So if you didn't do that, it might be user error.

Ditch your 510 batteries and buy at least two Janty eGo batteries. They are pricey at $25 each or five for $82. One battery last me all day at work. I switch when I get home and the second lasts all evening. You will need an atomizer cover ($9).

I also have a Bartely Mod ($50). It is charged using a mini-USB plug so it never runs out. It lasts all day without recharging. If it does run out, I use my phone charger and keep vaping. Don't buy the $40 version because it lacks a mini-USB port.

I am not allowed to post the URL's because of limited participation so use Google to find the sites.
