JEEP 02
I see you joined us at ECF in August WElCOME! I had SO much to learn. i used eGo batts during my quit days, I hope this helps.
1. For me; i ALWAYS needed to have a backup. Ready, charged and handy. After success (no smoking analogues) i took the $ saved from tobacco and bought more units..so I had 1 ready and loaded everywhere.
2. my supplier (myFreedomSmokes is well reputed) was really important at this stage! I live rural, no B&M shop...I had a phone contact and would call and talk to the owner/manager. They always took care of me!, i'd have replacements on the way ASAP++ goodies.
3. I did stick to 'name brand' just to start, the joyetech eGo's had enough warranty for that. remember, ALL PROductS can have 'faults" from the cheapest to the best and everything in between. even the rolls royces of e-cigs can get finicky every once in a while.
4. Many noobs on a budget will save$ on the "back up" gear...just something to get them through while the preferred device(s) are charging/being serviced/cleaned/refilled etc.
be kind to yourself.
work with a supplier and ecf for support
when you're running smooth, take an evening and "noodle around" the ECf site. The InfoZone has GREAT resources, there's
reviews, advice, blogs, forums for about every device, manufacturer, supplier
reviews, and so much more that will let you know where to go in a hurry when you need it.
figure out your own habits and what fits you, frequency, nic. level, batteries, vape, TH, etc.
Did your battery contact get
juice on it?
all the best.
