Hey Reo folks!

I'm new to the bottom feeders, but after messing with carts and cartos and dry hits, then T attys, then..then..then.. I'm pretty tired of buying more stuff just to buy more stuff.

I want the Reo Grand as I think it will work perfectly for my needs.

My question...If a 18650 will give me 3.7v, would 2 CR123A's give me 5v?

Then, if it is possible, is it recommended?

Just wanted to weigh all my options before they come back in stock and I have to pull the trigger.

Thanks for the info!

Nice, thanks for the info...

As I am new to the high-drain setups...I did a quick search of the basics on them .. and....

As I understand it, the High Drain 3.7v 18650 with a LR atty will replicate a higher voltage experience?

If this is the case, I will almost certainly get both Regular and HD 18650's for the Grand to have the change-up available when needed :)

Lastly, is there a waiting list set up with the vendor? Or is it a first come, first serve, get em while they're hot on the website kinda thing?

Thank you all!

Yes, you said it, it's a first come, first serve and they will be on sale next Saturday, the 26th at 7pm if I'm not mistaken. It's best to register first so you'll be all set. You can also use the notify button to try to get a certain color if you like and if he has it an email is sent. I'm understanding that there may be new colors in the Grands, maybe green and blue but not sure. Hope this helps!

I think you are confusing high drain with high voltage. You only need the AW IMR 18650's. All 18650 batteries put out approximately the same voltage (rated at 3.7v, but vary, with the AW IMR 18650 being superior)

If you are going to use pairs of 123a's to get 6v or 7.4v, you will need different atomizers. You will burn out LR atomizers at 6 or 7.4v.

mlinky is correct.... the "standard" 18650 and "high drain" (IMR) perform almost identical.

You could never feel the difference IMO.
(at least in the AW brand) cheaper ones maybe.

I still prefer the Black AW 2200 mah button top standard in my Grand.
But the Red AW 1600 mah IMR high drain are what is recommended now.

Either one is fine IMO, but I can't recommend AW brand highly enough.

Not a fan of trustfire or surefire, or god for bid the BDL
